K. Stańko | Herdzin | Aquarius

Wybitna wokalistka Krystyna Stańko nagrała swoją nową, dziesiątą płytę pod tytułem AQUARIUS poszerzając swój stały skład o brzmienie orkiestry kameralnej z udziałem kwintetu instrumentów dętych drewnianych. Znakomite aranżacje wyszły spod pióra Krzysztofa Herdzina. Album ukaże się w marcu 2019, a jego premiera odbędzie się w Filharmonii w Szczecinie. Podczas koncertu usłyszymy także Orkiestrę Symfoniczną Filharmonii w Szczecinie, którą poprowadzi sam Krzysztof Herdzin.

Krystyna Stańko – vocalist, composer, songwriter, guitarist and teacher, graduate of the Jazz and Entertainment Music Department at the Academy of Music in Katowice. The artist made her debut at the end of the 1980s with the Krakow blues band Dekiel, and the group Young Power. While still a student, she founded the vocal quartet For Dee, and in 2000, together with Maciej Grzywacz, founded the group (0-58) – both albums were nominated for a "Fryderyk" Music Award. Currently she is cooperating with many excellent jazz musicians, as well as lecturing in Jazz and Entertainment Music at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk.

Krzysztof Herdzin – composer, conductor, arranger, pianist, academic lecturer and music producer. His musical activity is exceptionally broad with over 150 albums in his discography. The artist made his debut while still at high school, when such outstanding musicians as Kazimierz Jonkisz and Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski invited him to cooperate with them. He has given concerts with many musicians, not just in jazz. He is also the composer of the orchestration to the famous soundtrack by Jan A. P. Kaczmarek for the film "Finding Neverland".
